How to Promote Your Affiliate Squeeze Page

January 8th, 2010

There are several ways to promote your affiliate squeeze page.

You can use Google Adwords to send traffic to your affiliate opt-in page. You can create a blog at Blogger.com. And you can write articles and submit them to article directories.

Before you do any of these marketing tactics you need to check your marketing system to make sure everything is in place.

You need to fix any grammar errors and misspellings. Check your web pages in both of the browsers, which are Netscape and Internet Explorer.

Do yourself a favor and double check all your autoresponder messages for grammar and misspellings.

Check the sequence of your autoresponder.

You need to test your autoresponder by subscribing to your own opt-in list with your personal email address.

Also try to unsubscribe from your own list.

It is very important to check your list to make sure your email address is added when you subscribed and removed when you un-subscribed.

Check if your affiliate link is properly working in the email messages that will be sent to your own email address.

Once this is done you can start to promote your affiliate squeeze page. Here I will cover article marketing, as this is the easiest, surest and most viral affiliate marketing available on the Internet. And it’s absolutely free!

Let’s say you have chosen 4 affiliate programs. Start writing articles for these affiliate programs by using two affiliate links per article for the resource box when you submit. That way you only have to write 2 articles a day for each affiliate link set. This will add up to 4 articles a day.

Do this every single day. Put two of your affiliate links in the resource box of two of your articles and the other two affiliate links in the resource box of the other two articles.

When submitting your articles make sure to read the article directory rules very carefully because some of them may not accept affiliate links.

If that is the case you need to re-direct your affiliate links to a blog created especially for the specific affiliate program or to a domain name you have buy including the hosting, if asked for it.

Writing articles is not as difficult as it sounds. Google search for some useful content related to your affiliate programs and write about 250-300 words about it.

Write in a ‘telling the secrets’ style without revealing it all. Leave enough to wonder about so your prospects will want to click on your affiliate links.

If you do this you will soon see real money making results. This is viral, once it starts it never stops!

5 Free And Essential Marketing Tools To Ensure Any Affiliate Partner’S Success

December 26th, 2009

Time and time again, it has been said that affiliate marketing is, without a doubt, the quickest and most efficient way of earning a living online. There are a variety of reasons for this. For starters, most affiliate programs do not require any enrollment fees. There is no financial investment on the part of the affiliate. Secondly, the affiliate is only tasked with pre-selling the affiliate merchant’s products. The sales page, the payment processing, the digital delivery, and the post sales services shall be borne by the affiliate merchant. These shouldn’t mean that the affiliate should want in commitment, however. As a matter of fact, an affiliate’s success wholly depends on how much commitment he could give the program, and how much effort he could invest to pursue such commitment. Sometimes, this requires some monetary expenses. Getting a web host, for example, as well as a domain name, would necessitate some cash to be laid out. Getting professionally made graphics to make his website attractive can also cost some dough, in the event that the affiliate cannot do this for himself. PPC advertising can equally be just as costly, if not even more, if the affiliate would ever decide to utilize this option. But not everything needs to come at a price. There are vital tools that would help ensure the affiliate’s success, and they can be availed of for free. Here are the top five tools under this category. Advice For Newbies Promoting a Website Or Affiliate Link

December 25th, 2009

Promoting a website, blog, affiliate link etc. can be a very daunting and stressful task. However, it doesn’t have to be. There are many ways to promote on the Internet. If you are new to advertising on the Internet you will have to learn the various ways to advertise. There are vast free resources you can utilize to learn how to advertise and promote your product on the Internet without spending a dime.

The different ways of advertising include SEO (search engine optimization). SEO is basically a way to get your page ranked on the organic listings on the search engines through practises like optimising your keywords and content even your images can be optimised, requesting relevant one way back links from similar sites, article writing, submitting your site to directories, search engines and classified ad sites. With these sites you can submit an ad with your website address (url). You can also join online forums, discussion groups, blogs, social bookmarking and social news sites. With these sites most times you can add your website address to your signature on a post. When you do post on these sites make sure you have something relevant to say. Don’t join these sites just to advertise your link otherwise they will sniff you out and ban you. You can ruin your reputation on the Internet doing that. All of these ways are for the most part free or you can always outsource for a fee of course.

Another way of promoting a product or service is through e-mail marketing. Possibly the most powerful way to advertise provided you have a list of faithful customers. If you don’t have a list my advise would be for you to get one. The best way is to put up a capture page with an opt-in box and give something away for free. You can give away an e-book but make sure it contains useful content. You can also give away a free subscription to a newsletter. Again, make sure you cram it with useful content. You can give away anything you want just make sure it is useful. Your reputation is on the line here. If your recipients like what your putting out they may very well turn into your faithful customers. These are just a few ways to capture e-mail addresses. If you don’t want to go that route you can pay for e-mail advertising. You can purchase a membership to safe lists or bulklists. there are also services that will send out a solo ad for you. The cost for a solo ad can vary. I’ve seen it as low as $19.95 and as high as $1500.00. Either way e-mail marketing should be one of your marketing tools.

PPC or CPC advertising on the other hand can get extremely expensive if you do not know what you are doing. Sure it can drive a lot of traffic your way and fast. After putting up your ad you can be on the first page in 30 minutes but if you do not set up your campaign and choose your keywords properly it can break you very fast. I would advise you to view the Google Adwords tutorials before taking on paid advertising. There is also a ton of free advise on this particular way of advertising. There are also other search engines that offer paid advertising such as,Yahoo, MSN, Microsoft Ad Center,Ad Brite and Bidvertiser just to name a few.

Now, you don’t have to use one way or the other. There is no rule. Using all three: SEO, Paid Advertising and E-Mail Marketing can benefit you tremendously.

So what do I do if I’m a Newbie?

Well you should research all three: SEO, Paid Advertising and E-Mail Marketing on the web and gain as much knowledge as you can. I must warn you though there is so much to learn that it could literally take years and a lot of trial and error before you master either way.

Or you can learn from someone who has been there and done that. A mentor with 10 solid years in the game who earns well over $100000.00 per month in his sleep alone. A Multimillionaire who is willing to show you exactly how he did it through step by step video tutorials. Nothing is left out not even the secrets all of the Gurus use to earn Millions on the net. Check it out, you really have nothing to lose. In fact at the very least you will gain some valuable knowledge that will save you a lot of time and money.

Make Money Guide: Where To Find Affiliates For Your Niche Website

December 24th, 2009

To make money with articles that you place on websites, you will also need a variety of good affiliate links that will help to generate revenue. It is important that you know where to find affiliates and that you choose the best affiliates for you and your niche site. When you pick an affiliate, it is important that you determine which companies you will profit best from based on the frequency that the product is likely to sell. There are several types of affiliates and some will offer you more money from a sale than others will. Before you get hazy-eyed by dollar signs, however, remember some products are bound to sell more than others. If you sell on product four times a year from a little known company that gives you $100 per sale or sell a well known product 3 times a week at the rate of $10 per sale, then you will make much more money with the $10 per sale product. Often times large well known companies will offer a very small profit per sale because they are established and know that their product is likely to sell well. Small, unknown companies, on the other hand, need all of the promotion they can get. Also, because they are unknown, their products are likely to sell less frequently.( Best Affiliate Programs)The most important rule when picking affiliates to promote on your site is to pick products that would be of interest to those who would likely visit your niche site. Otherwise you will be promoting a product to a group of people who do not even want nor need it. If your niche site targets parents of young children, then promote baby products. If you niche site targets gardeners, then promote gardening products. If you promote baby products to gardeners, you are almost guaranteed to not make a profit no matter how much money the affiliate company offers for a sale.Lastly, there are two main ways to find an affiliate company for your niche website. You can sign up with a company that manages the accounts of hundreds of companies, big and small, and apply for the products within these accounts or you can do a web search for companies that would match well with your niche, visit their websites, and see if they advertise an affiliate program.

You Need a Venue Wherein You Can Promote Your Affiliate Links

December 20th, 2009

If you belong to any of the following groups, then this article is for you.* You already have a business and a website that serves as the official hub for your online sales. The website may be serving as an online store for your enterprise.* You need a venue wherein you can promote your affiliate links.* Your already have a website, which may not necessarily be a commercial one, and it is enrolled with a Pay Per Click (PPC) program, like Google AdSense.Success in these fields depends on one essential principle which you might have already realized: traffic is the key to your online business thriving. You may have in your digital inventory the best products in the world, but they won’t mean squat if no one would get to see them. This is why each and every online businessman will fight tooth and nail just to have a piece of the Internet traffic. After all, the more visitors who get to visit your site, the more potential clients you have. And blogs can most definitely help you drive visitors to your pages. Here is how you could use them to achieve such a purpose:1. Download the Wordpress blogging software, which is available for free at www.wordpress.com . An alternative is to go with blogger.com. I have posted instructions for setting up a Blogger blog at your own server in this PDF file:http://www.pluginprofitstraining.com/blogsetup.pdf2. Remember that good content is always at the heart of a progressive online traffic stream. People are always looking for information, and if you will give them that, they would read what you have to offer. Dedicate your blog to the subject of your main website. Publish informative entries that would hook your readers and make them come back for updates. In between purely educational entries, strategically include a link to your site by suggesting their importance to your readers.3. Using the above mentioned strategy, you could also include your affiliate links to pre-sell your affiliate products. The more traffic you drive to your affiliate merchant’s site or sales page, the more chances you will have of effectuating a successful sale and bigger commissions.4. Links from blogs are unilateral, meaning, they are one way links to your websites. The more traffic a unilateral link generates, the more it becomes prominent in online searches. Avoid reciprocal links at all costs! Do not include a link to your blog from your website. Search engines abhor reciprocal linking.5. 80% of your traffic will come from the search engines. You have to tweak your blog to attract the attention of the search engine spiders. Now, blogs are already search engine friendly. However, there is a very big possibility that you would be competing with other blogs on the same subject. You have to make sure that once you upload your blog, it is able to outperform its competitors in the search engine rankings. One way you can do this is by using the title of your post to match the keyword phrases you are targeting, plus put a sprinkling of your keyword phrase in the post itself. I am doing this with great results.6. Check your blog offline. It should be as readable and as navigable as possible for your prospective readers. Make appropriate adjustments if necessary.7. Upload your blog to a reliable server that has enough bandwidth to accommodate many viewers.8. Constantly update your blog. Search engines love regularly updated content, so publishing new entries will greatly increase your blog’s page rank, and consequently, your main website’s traffic.9. Accepting links from other related blogs will also bring to your site some traffic from sources other then search engines. The way that a blog is designed fosters the building of a community of blog sites, and this will provide for an added stream of visitors for you.10. You could also decide to enroll your blog site in the Google AdSense advertising program. This will give you an additional income stream. We will discuss this in future articles.Blogs are excellent promotional tools for your existing business. Use them well and you will harvest the rewards in a matter of weeks.

Newbie, Try Affiliate Marketing

December 10th, 2009

If you are just starting out in Internet Marketing with the aim to earn extra income or for whatever reason. Then the easiest and most uncomplicated way to start earning extra cash or building up a business, is by selling other peoples products, better know as Affiliate Marketing. In this article we will have a look at the various types of affiliate marketing opportunities that are available.Over the last few years, affiliate marketing has become very popular, no longer is affiliate marketing merely thought of as an alternative method for the merchant to advertise his products, but also as a means of generating additional income for the affiliates. With the benefit of little to no start-up costs makes affiliate marketing ideal for people who want to try their hand at Internet Marketing. And has in fact become the number one provider of advertising for the merchants and the main source of income for affiliate marketers. What you find out and ask yourself is; what type of affiliate marketing will work best for you? Are all affiliate marketing programs the same? Are the benefits the same? Or are there affiliate marketing programs that work better than the others? There are a number of types of affiliate marketing opportunities ranging from the basic Pay Per Click marketing to the more advanced Residual Income Marketing. Lets have a look at some of the various options available in more detail.1. Pay Per Click (PPC)PPC is most likely the most popular method of affiliate marketing for affiliates with small websites, and probably the easiest way for them to earn money. In this affiliate marketing method, the merchant pays the affiliate whenever a visitor is directed to his site, that is whenever someone clicks through on the merchant’s banner or text ads. The affiliate gets compensated a certain amount even if the visitor he referred does not buy anything from the merchant’s site. An example of this would be Google AdWords. This is where ads are placed on your site by Google or some of the other Search Engines. However, typical fees for PPC affiliate programs are small, usually not exceeding a dollar for every click.2. Pay Per Sale (PPS)PPS affiliate marketing is the most popular among merchants and is also the most lucrative type for the affiliates. In this type of affiliate program, the merchant only pays the affiliate whenever his referral converts into a sale, paid subscription or anything else entailing a financial commitment by the customer or lead. This means great savings for the merchant in advertising costs. On the other hand, it becomes the most lucrative type for the dedicated affiliate, because commissions in PPP affiliate marketing can range from 15% to 20% and sometimes 75% of the actual product’s sales price. One the best advantages of PPS type of affiliate marketing is that you as the affiliate do not need to have a website of your own. You can make use of the PPC Method as mentioned above. You will then pay for the clicks on your advertisement that lead to the sales on which you then earn commissions. This method of marketing can also be the cheapest way to start out in internet marketing. Especially if you create you PPC Campaign in one of the lesser search engines where you would pay far less for your add then you would with one of the larger search engines such as Google etc.3. Pay Per Lead (PPL)The pay-per-lead type of affiliate marketing is a variation of the PPS type and is often used by insurance and finance companies and other companies who depend on leads for their company to grow. In this method of affiliate marketing, the affiliate is paid whenever the visitor he referred to the merchant’s site fills in an application form or any similar form related to the business of the company. Commission for this type of affiliate marketing is based on a fixed fee whose rates approximate that of the fixed fee in the PPS type.Aside from these three specific types of affiliate marketing, a lot of other affiliate marketing types exist. If the classification is based on the depth of the affiliate network, it can be classified as single-level, two-level, and multi-level affiliate marketing. There is also another type of affiliate marketing that pays the affiliate each time the customer he has referred purchases something from the merchant’s site.

How Can You Make Money Online With Affiliate Marketing!

December 10th, 2009

Before we begin to understand what affiliate marketing is; it is worth noting, affiliate marketing is not a new fangled, hyped up, latest craze method of doing business online, in fact affiliate marketing has been around for several years and has been responsible for the massive sustained growth of many well known companies.

Amazon is perhaps the best known of them all. Amazon understood the power of affiliate marketing way back in 1996. Since then they have utilized this business model to drive their net sales to some $14.263 billion per annum!

The best part folks is this; affiliate marketing is a sound and successful business model that anyone with a modicum of drive, desire and attitude can replicate to build a profitable online business, whether it is a few hundred dollars a month to hundreds of thousands of dollars per month, affiliate marketing offers you the individual the opportunity to achieve all that you have ever dreamt.

Affiliate marketing is a huge business piece on the Internet. It is a cooperative effort between merchants and an affiliate’s website. For many years now, affiliate marketing has proved to be a cost-efficient, measurable method of delivering long-tern results. It has become famous for Internet sites who are trying to make some extra or additional income for their site. One of the common misconceptions that are being associated about affiliate marketing is “selling”, though selling is an important activity of affiliate marketing and the central function of a business operation. Another is that affiliate marketing is commonly linked with “advertising”. While the importance of advertising in marketing a certain product is not to be underestimated, the fact of the matter is, advertising like selling, is merely a part of the many functions of marketing.

An affiliate is compensated for every visitor, subscriber and/or customer provided through his efforts. The said compensation may be made based on a certain value for each visit. The most attractive aspect of affiliate marketing from the merchant’s viewpoint is that no payment is due to an affiliate until results are appreciated.

Affiliate marketing is typically being run by affiliate networks and this affiliate networks are composed of two functional bodies, the group affiliates and the group merchants. Each has their special function and role when it comes to affiliate marketing. The affiliate network acts as a third party between the merchant and the associated affiliates. The network provides the technology to deliver the merchant’s campaigns and offers. The affiliate network also collects commission fees from the merchant and then pays the affiliates which are part of the program.

The merchant is any web site owner that wants or desires to take advantage of performance based marketing. The benefits to the merchant are many. First, the merchant maintains and operates the affiliate program. If it would be extracted, the merchant needs to do their part by researching interested affiliate websites to ensure that they are a good fit for that particular website. The affiliate or the affiliate marketer also sees a lot of benefits. The affiliate is a web site owner that promotes one or more merchants and their affiliate programs. Affiliate marketing can generate a full-time income for the affiliate. But this is not an easy task to accomplish. The affiliate needs to have a better understanding with the merchant what the commission will be, expected payment method and time involved in the contract. The affiliate has also the responsibility to stand for the merchandise their user based would be most interested in. Affiliate marketing is a great situation for both the marketer and the affiliate. If they would work together, they can be an advantage to both. Plus the fact that it seems to make sense, it is easy and inexpensive way to start, and you can be up and running within a few days. But there is one thing to consider, it is how to get traffic and make your offer different than all others.

Power of Affiliate Marketing – How to Win Affiliate Wars!

December 9th, 2009

Dominating affiliate marketing and becoming an excellent affiliate isn’t simple – it’s a real jungle out there in the affiliate marketing wars. Every new affiliate is also trying to make the sale – of the same product! Since we were old enough to go to school, we’ve been pressured to fit in and be like everybody else. But now it’s time to project out into latest region, be different and learn to be a winning player if you hope to succeed in affiliate marketing. Unless you’re a true Type A personality, this means some essential changes for you – no longer worrying about fitting in, being ok with making people jealous of you, ignoring those who talk behind your back – all required qualities in every super-affiliate and most others who want to have flourishing affiliate marketing businesses online. And because affiliate marketing really is a business in its own right, first you have to make sure that you have your own website dedicated to your affiliate marketing promotions. This is very important as it allows you to build your own affiliate marketing opt-in lists and a chance to promote numerous affiliate opportunities and products instead of promoting just one affiliate link at a time – and having to start all over again for the next affiliate promotion you push. Subsequently, always avoid using the affiliate marketing promotional materials that are provided by the affiliate administrator or merchant. You will discover that you make more sales when you create your own material, including free gifts such as reports and e-books. Use the copy and e-mails provided as a basis for your own articles and blog posts, and study them for any great selling points that were missed – those are the type of points to really hit home and take apart you from the affiliate marketing wannabes…While you promote affiliate products in your affiliate marketing promotions, be sure to promote your website and your opt-in list more than you promote anything else. Super affiliates use article marketing, pay per click ads, forum signatures, public bookmarking and other Web 2.0 methods to drive targeted traffic to their affiliate marketing websites and opt-in lists, and then promote the specific affiliate products to their opt-in lists and on their websites. Remember – bring the traffic to YOU – THEN launch it to them. One time in a while, offer additional benefit gifts to those who purchase through your affiliate marketing links. You can create your own gifts, or use private tag rights products. Most affiliates don’t do this, however most of the very good affiliates do. Keep it for the more expensive affiliate marketing promotions though – it becomes less effective if you are regularly offering bonuses and, worse yet, you can end up like some who no longer get a buying response from their lists unless they offer some heavy-duty bonuses. If you condition your audience to always buying for the bonuses, you’ll see your affiliate marketing results falling when you don’t have new bonuses for them.A further powerful affiliate marketing method is to host teleseminars to promote affiliate products. Your teleseminars MUST give your listeners useful information that they can use – and must be on a topic related to the affiliate product you’re promoting. Don’t make the bulk of the call a sales pitch – not only will they hang up, but they’ll avoid your calls in future. Offer them good solid information, either on your own or through an interview, for 50 minutes of a 1-hour calls, then use that last five or ten minutes to direct them to the affiliate offer on YOUR affiliate marketing website. Get their opt-in and then focus them through to the merchant’s salespage – and watch the nice bang you get in your affiliate marketing commissions! If the majority of your affiliate marketing activities are in the same function, write and submit articles on a regular basis. Get your name out there and become a recognized expert in your niche. Also make it a point to actively participate in related forums and newsgroups – always with a link to your site in your signature. As your name recognition and reliability grow, so will the profits you’re raking in from your affiliate marketing efforts!Summing up, always endeavor to do things just a bit in a different way to stand out from the rest of the affiliate marketing crowd, but don’t ignore any of the established marketing methods just because other affiliates are using them. Use EVERY affiliate marketing strategy you can – just be sure to ALWAYS put your own twist on them!
